This is music of Easter celebration and joy - a high-energy, rhythmic, forward-motion piece that shapes itself into a powerful mart-lift-shake ending that involves everyone in the choir and in the audience. The melody is from "Vruechten" - not as familiar as other common Easter hymns, but one that is recognizably upbeat.  The 8th note rhythms push the music along in virtually every measure, and there are two key changes (jump modulations) that give the music excitement, and the bass parts are important and energetic.
