Our jeweler's rouge cloth create a "mirror-bright" finish to handbell castings -- without the mess that Pioneer® cloths create because the rouge is impregnated and bonded into the cloth, and cannot scatter all over your castings and your tables and your lap!

We find these cloths best for cleaning very dirty bells that need to be restored quickly and easily to a full shine.

This rouge cloth is from the same manufacturer and uses the same rouge as Pioneer cloths, but is so very much easier to use and so much cleaner at the same time!  We stock this because it was created for jewelers cleaning bright metallic jewelry -- and bronze bells can be though of in the same way.

As a history, we discovered that Pioneer cloths -- the standard in handbell polishing aids for "forever" -- were originally made for machine parts, and this is why these traditional handbell cleaning cloths scatter loose polish everywhere, gumming up mechanisms and discoloring the surrounding area (even causing one manufacturer of bells to ask that the inside of their bells not be polished at all).  Our cloths improve the situation dramatically.
