Handbell Services now offers handbell table pads! Our pads are the same standard density, long-life polyurethane sold by most handbell suppliers. The difference = we can save you a substantial amount on both pad costs and shipping costs! Our pads are sent directly from our distributor and arrives "vacuum-packed".

• The foam gradually unfurls to its full size in over an hour or two; this small inconvenience is worth the savings you'll receive!

• Caution: to avoid cutting the padding inside care must be taken when opening the shipping carton

• 3" thick pads can be used with smaller sets and for solo ringers not requiring the extra thickness.

• 4" thickness is recommended for protecting the castings from direct contact on the table tops, also offers maximum resonance for special stopped techniques.

Handbell Services generally recommends two pads for each linear table dimension. This offers easier storage and less awkwardness when moving equipment.

We offer smaller 1- and 2-foot pads -- to extend padding from 6 to 8 feet (e.g. when attending a festival with provided tables).  We also can cut custom length and width sizes if interested.  Please call 1-800-37-BELLS for additional information.

Helpful tip: vacuum-packed foam avoids the hassle of trying to insert foam inside a muslin pad cover or custom Tote-Pac® cover. Before expansion let the foam unfurl 'inside' the cover.
