Arr by Michael Helman . . . Christmas Classic . . . 

This is "early" Michael Helman, music that is easy to play with ample good melodies.  It mixes snippets of many favorite Christmas carols (but primarily Joy To The World and O Come, All Ye Faithful), weaving them together artfully and delightfully.

 The music changes key twice and there is an optional handchime part for a few measures (which is easily learned).

• Keys of G and C Major, 4/4 time signature, marked "joyfully" 110 speed

• Quarter notes predominate, with easy dotted notes; there are a very few accidentals.

• There are marts in a few spots, in both treble and bass; there are no other special techniques

• Dynamics swell from mp to f several times, which gives a rolling lilt to the music; this would be effective as an Introit or as an upbeat feature in any point of a Christmas service or concert.
